What People Are Saying - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“It is not an overstatement to say that the guys at Drain My Lawn saved my yard. Having a house on the side of a hill is a challenge, but they clearly knew what they were doing. He made a plan, we agreed on the work, and they were in and out - including lawn repair - in 4 days. It's a great transformation.”

“DML was great to work with on this project. They provided a video overview of the plan including a video of the drains working during a rain storm. DML kept me informed on when my project would start and finished in a timely manner. I highly recommend DML!

Services We Offer
French Drains
These are the most versatile and effective drain system available when properly designed and installed. The biggest advantage of a French drain is its ability to capture surface water and subsurface water. They are ideal for protecting your foundation and draining saturated soils. We “burrito-wrap” your system with DOT approved nonwoven geotextile filter fabric to ensure it lasts for decades without maintenance. The result is a system completely sealed in filter fabric to allow water to freely flow but keep out soil and debris.
Lawn Drains
These systems are designed for handling surface water. Most commonly, your gutter downspouts will be tied into a storm drain system. These drains should never be tied into a French drain because they are designed to carry debris (such as roof shingle gravel or small leaves) which would clog a French drain system. Storm drains can be effectively constructed with PVC and corrugated pipe. Either can be periodically cleaned if properly constructed.
Sump Systems
In flat properties without the ability to utilize gravity for evacuating excess water, a sump system may be needed. This system is essentially large underground tank with a pump that pushes water to where we need to take it. Due to the large amounts of water these systems manage, they are larger than crawl space sump systems. When properly designed, these systems will last decades with minimal maintenance.
Drain Fields
In situations where removing the water from the property is impractical or impossible, we will design and install a drain field. It’s a system designed to hold and diffuse water into the ground over time. Many septic systems use drain fields to manage excess water. A drain field can be fed by gravity or a sump system. It’s important that these systems are properly designed with special attention paid to the amount of water it will manage and where it is located. When properly installed, these systems will last for decades with no maintenance.
Corrective Grading
Sometimes excess water can be effectively managed with grading to direct water to an area off property or where it won’t cause harm. We’ll use existing soil where possible to adjust the soil surface and direct water to where we need it to go.
